Today in the morning in place of a sermon we had reports from the whole church for our AGM. A wide variety of people shared with us, from the leaders of all our small groups to the people involved in many ministries such as working in our prison. It was fascinating and thrilling to hear the many ways that people are serving God.
We will be posting a PDF online soon with all of these reports for those are interested.
The evening sermon was by James van Heerden, from Hebrews 12:1-12 on "keep running", followed by communion. James and his wife Deanna are leaving this week for five weeks on holiday in New Zealand visiting with their daughter Karyn and her family. We wish them a blessed time!
