Sermons 30th March 2008

The morning sermon was by Allister Anderson, all the way from the Isle of Skye, on setting the standards in Babylon, from Daniel 1:20.  Allister is the pastor of the Skye Bible Church that Frans and Felicity Kock's family attended when they lived there.

The evening sermon was by Neil Hinrichsen, on seeking the Kingdom through the Beatitudes, from Matthew 5:3-12.

Sermons for Easter 2008

Our Easter Friday sermon was by James van Heerden (please excuse the brief 'double recording' at the beginning).

Our Easter Sunday sermon was also by James van Heerden, and in the evening we celebrated communion with Neale Perring (no recording).

Our pastor James has started a House Church ministry in Plettenberg Bay on Sunday evenings (more details in our Notices), so someone else will be preaching in our church on Sunday evenings  while he is be sharing with them.

Sermon 16th March 2008

The morning sermon was by James van Heerden, from Mark 11 and 12, on the faith of Jesus.

In the evening we had a wonderful presentation of the Easter story in song by Ross Willmot from our church and Christina & Michael van der Walt from the Holy Trinity Church in Belvidere, with a dances by our dancers.

The evening sermon was by James van Heerden, from 1 Samuel 3, on serving like a child.

The morning sermon was by James van Heerden, from Mark 9:14-15, on the alternative to arguing.

The evening sermon was by James van Heerden, from Micah 6:8, about how he has shown us what is good.
